I have the 24 x1 28i with the new ID9 system. I’ve seen such smaller updates frequently since I picked it up, nearly a year ago. Best thing to is to set it to “Autom update” & you’ll get them OTA as they are rolled out.
If you encounter any glitches after that a HARD RESET typically fixes them. * START CAR & LEAVE IN PARK * THEN PUSH & HOLDING DOWN THE CYLINDER VOLUME CONTROL ON CENTER CONSOLE UNTIL THE SCREEN CYCLES OFF & ON 2-3 TIMES. You should see a bunch of moving lines on the screen cycle off & on 2-3 times. This should take about 1 minute. Last edited by markronnie; Yesterday at 07:55 AM.. |

I've had my M50 for almost a month and, yes, I received those updates in recent weeks. IDK what all the changes/fixes were, but the car and those particular apps (My Modes and BMW Maps) have been working perfectly.
