I am around 1200 miles, and I would consider it is completely break in. Recently when I am backing my car and holding the brake, I constantly hear the high pitch noise come from the brake. I did a little search, it seems normal to many M badged models, and then I even brought my car to service ask them to check, they didn't check at all told me it is normal right after I described the issue, just want to check if anyone else experienced it in their G45? Still concerns me a little somehow.

Performance brake pads do that. Worse when cold a new. It gets better but will happen at times.

760 miles on my car. I've had the same experience a few times. Seems to happen more when my wheel is turned while backing up. Doesn't seem to happen as much when I'm backing up straight. I was quite surprised the first time this happened. I've had squeaky brakes going forward in my other car. Never backward.

Exactly same thing for me, backing, holding the brake and steering, squeaky noise from the brake.
