cool snake! nah its okay dawg, snakes wont even reach the city coz of the pollution! lots of far more dangerous things in indo eg racial riots

i had a snake in my house during the big flood in 96, probably about 1.5m long..its just a green house snake, the maid let it slide up a broom stick and threw it far away lol

Indonesia is one of the worst places to be in the world:

1) Earthquakes
2) Volcanoes
3) Hurricanes
4) Tsunamis
5) Bird Flu (including the shortlived human-to-human mutated version)
6) Poisonous creatures
7) Warfare/violence (e.g. East Timor)

It's pretty far down in my "places to visit" list

No hurricanes/typhoons/cyclones in Indonesia, Monsoon rains maybe.

There are a lot of good reasons to visit Indonesia

No hurricanes? Whoops, my bad - but damn, that's just one down off a list of 7 pretty bad reasons!

It's a shame though because it really is a beautiful place yet there's too many disasters going on. This whole list of events is pretty recent, too - minus the tsunami as that's years back but the volcano/earthquake/bird flu/warfare took place days apart weeks ago!
