The 335 has a new stable mate

We just did European delivery last week and picked up a 135 w/premium package, comfort access, heated seats and taracotta interior. Overall I was really impressed with every aspect of this car. At first I always thought the 1s were a little smooched looking. In person its a great looking vehicle. Also after a trip to the Nurburgring and just over 1000 miles of driving in Germany, we really got a good feel for the comfort and performance aspect of the car. Without a doubt it out handles my 335 and brakes like a mother. Im starting to think tracking the 335 is a lost cause after getting this. Too bad its the wifes car

Now comes the dreaded 6 to 10 week wait for the car to come from Germany

Dual cones, wheels, springs and a tune soon to come!

congrats on the car and have fun with it, WHEN it arrives
now as for the "stable as 335i" i might agree with you and add on a few things, since 135 and 335 are based on the same engine and performance upgrades like brakes and drilled rotors and so on, the reasons why 135i might even out run 335i is because it weights a lot less and since you got the premium pack and all that once you modd it i think that pretty much you can outrun any 300 hp car outthere so nice choice on the car and i drove it once and i also have to agree that those brakes and acceleration are much better due to its weight and its lighter chassis.

+1

What does she need the extra power for? Unless, of course, she is a BMW enthusiast like us.

+1, wives dont need turbos, unless ofcoarse if they respect something like that, then by all means, but if she doesnt even know what a tc is then probley should have saved a few grand and got the 128, unless you plan on driving it alot haha

as long as those turbos aren't going to waste.

Yes, the great weather was few and far between. It was unseasonably cold and rainy through the majority of the trip. We packed shorts, t-shirts and a few long sleeve thin shirts. It was 7deg celcius during the afternoon on several days!

Looks great. I am really liking the 135 these days. And yes it looks much better in person than in pics.

if the 135 came down in price just a little bit, i'd love to have that as a commuter car and turn the z into a weekender... but a 1 and z aren't both very practical, i think my daily will either be a 3 or a4 =T
