wow after the utter nonsense between the op and his enemies

I'd go with a older 240 sx. Easy to modify and relatively cheap to modify.

turbo e36 m3s are not reliable, they are badass tho.

i dont understand why you want to sell your 335 for an e36 m3. yeah any car will depreciate. its stupid to sell the car that you have babied and taken care of for a car that is atleast 10 years old. you dont know how many owners that car had and you dont know if it was taken care of. you could be buying a possible money pit. i think you should man up and keep your 335.

Has anyone mentioned a 98 or so Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX? AWD turbo that is easily moddable... Can get up to 420whp on the stock turbo so get it there and upgrade the turbo and you should be in for an easy 500whp for around $20k

The gsx is a good choice but i wouldnt wanna fork over any extra money for the known radiator and camshaft problems it has. Anyone remember the huge f*ck up by mitsubishi? Most cars from that generation have known problems with the clearcoat peeling from the paint over a small sum of years. I would get a subi or evo over an GSX anyday!

It was tranny problems mostly but i never heard of the GSX suffering from it... I said GSX cause it is a lot cheaper than a subi or an evo...

One problem with the DSM vehicles is that altough there is a back seat, it is barely useable. Maybe if you don't like the person that much you place them back there.

But there is always the limited 91/92 Galant VR4...

3. 500 hp = why bother with a back seat

On a realistic note, why do you need 500whp? Is this a track car or is this just a power figure you want? If your looking for that kind of power with reliability pick up a Vette or the new skyline. Even though they don't hit the figure you're looking for, you should be able to with little mods. Basically, the less horsepower you start with the amount of tuning required to reach your target will make the car unreliable. I'd suggest starting with a base vehicle that's already rated close to 400hp, squeezing the last 100 should be cake. Good luck.
I guess I'm the exception to your rule!

I made 540 wheel and the car was as sweet as a baby and would get 21-22 on the highway and I drove it 13 hours each way to IL. Had a back seat and all!

N/A 500 wheel will be tough for reliability or at least drivability.
