I have an '07 M6 and it is amazing. If you read some of the posts on here, you'll know it can ALMOST keep up with a 335 . One thing you will notice is it has very refined power. You hit 80 and above without any drama, it's just smooth and powerful.

One drawback is attracts a lot of attention. I can't go into a WaWa without some teenager putting his hands all over the windows trying to look inside. Another drawback is that it seems that it brings out the "dick" in other fast cars. I can't stand when some GTO, WRX or 335's (sorry, but 335's do it the most) get next to me and start blipping their throttle to egg me on for a race. I just want to drive in peace.

I promise you though, the pros outweigh the cons.

My friend has one...its has a really nice grunt to it and the performance is incredible...The car handles really crisp, but it is a big cruiser for sure even with the M logo....If i had to choose between M6 or M3, I would no doubt take the M3, its much more sportier to me, but then again if I had to choose between the two, I would choose neither and take my modded 335 over them anyday!!!

why do they drop in value so fast? that's less than half it's worth.

42k? That's a bargain with 16k miles on it!

Car companies (BMW included) can't even sell new cars and will do anything to move them out the door. When you're offering huge discounts and great financing for new cars, it pushes down the resale value of used cars. Plus, a lot of owners are looking at their 401k and saying 'we need to cut back.' One of the first things to go is a luxury car like that. Plus people can't get financing. Plus, I suspect BMW didn't price the leases correctly so they may be getting a ton of them back as 2 year leases expire. There is simply no demand, and as a result, the price has to come down.
