I'm liking the Macallan 17 yr old as the best scotch thus far that I've had. Right now all I've got left is some Glenfiddich 18 yr old, some Glenlivet 12 yr, and a very small amount of JW Blue.

Question to the scotch fans...I got this scotch calendar thing and its got some tasting notes and that - one really stood out as sounding fantastic - its called Tomintoul 27 yr old. Anyone tried it?? I especially like the fact that its from Speyside which I find myself always going back to.

I just cracked open my Glenfiddich 18 the other day which I had recieved as a gift. I didn't like it really. I guess its good cause its cheaper than other 18 yr olds but the finish was weird. The taste was too strong or forced I think.

Scotch: Johnny Walker Black and occasionally Chivas Regal

A few weeks back I picked up a bottle of Johnny Walker Blue for no apparent reason. Ungodly expensive but it was something we had to try. Amazing stuff and I'd do it again, although probably at a special occasion.
