And yet superior to the M3 in every objective performance measure. Of course, I do understand that "f*cking Nissan" is going to be the fallback position for a lot of Bimmer and Porsche owners as they get blown into the weeds.

If looks were a performance metric then most of us wouldn't be shopping a 1-series. BMW isn't exactly racking up accolades for any of its models in the styling department...

i actually am not a die hard bimmer fan at all. I like cars based on style instead of speed. And the nissan just doesnt look good to me.Like i said - looks like a eclipse and a civic had a baby..... I'd rather have the porsche over the m3 anyday.. not a fan of bmws new styling, the size or cost of the m3... give me a 02 m3 over a new one

I've seen enough independent testing now that I'm starting to believe the 7:38 with race rubber time.

That GTR is awesome. I would probably still take a new Z06 instead, especially if I was paying for it but the GTR would be a VERY close 2nd.

Wow, unreal how hard the GT-R leaves the line. No way Toyota or Honda will touch that car's performance for the price, much less any of the Germans. ZO6 is the only thing comparable, but forget taking one of those over a mountain pass or anything.

Color me a fan.
