BMW preview
Look at this: http://www.autohoje.com/index.php?op...l=12&Itemid=55
click on BMW. The new 3 looks fantastic. May be I should have waited. I don't like the current 3 series from the side from the rear doors to the rear bumpers, I love the look of the 1, but these renditions of the new 3...FANTASTIC |

YUCK...I respectfully have to disagree...those are FUGLY (with the one exception being the Z8...not too shabby!) Different strokes for different folks though...if ya like it/love it...buy it...I'm sure BMW doesn't care HOW they get your dollars...just that they DO hahaha!
p.s. I've always be partial to E46 type "boxier" or "flatter" fronts and backs...so maybe that's why I'm not lovin' it...kinda reminds me of what Infiniti did to the G35 to make the 37....hmmmm:iono:

I agree with hitthemark41.. I think those 3 concepts are terrible. IMO, they are taking a step backwards as far as design aesthetic design goes. I like the current 3, very appropriate for the time in respect to its competition. I really hope they rework the concepts :iono:

I don't like the 3 much from those pics either, however, I do like the Z8 pic

I'm not diggin' any of them. The z8 is the best, but I'm not liking the redesigned 3 at all. Is this someone's guess or is this a true rendition of what they are going to look like?

Well, we know that BMW is going the way of the turbos, which will require intercoolers. None of those designs support an intercooler.

Unless they (God Forbid) use a top mount ... could be ala mazdaspeed 6 .. underhood ducts for a top mount .. I don't think BMW would do this though .. Good catch Larry .. Crowley
