I would suggest that the 46+ groups be all lumped together as those that remember and drove the original Mini and 2002ti in their youth and welcome (finally) the return of "our gen" automobiles.

A few people are posting that BMW is doing a great job at appealing to the 21-25, or sub-30 crowd. While that might be true, there's a huge built in bias in the poll that skews the curve towards the younger demographic. Younger people are more inclined to spend time on forums like this than their older counterparts.

What the poll is actually measuring is the average age of 1er owners on 1addicts.com, not 1er owners in general.

Sorry, I had to mention that. I work in marketing and know there's lies, dirty lies, and statistics.
