Blockbusters subscribers save $ cancelling

For those with Blockbusters subscription with for example, 1 at a time for $11.99/month with 2 in-store exchanges membership, you should go ahead and complete the on-line cancellation process and you will be offered the same dvd deal for $9.99/month to get you back. Not too bad...$2 bucks (16%) savings. Possibly greater savings if you have a more expensive membership. Anyone know of more savings offer from vendors wanting to retain customer $$$? I reinstated...to try it out and I received a Welcome Back greeting. The new rates for the special offer will be in effect on the next billing cycle.
A side note...one of the boxes I checked was regarding the service was too expensive...or something like that. This might have triggered that automated special offer.

I gave up on Blockbuster when a bunch of stores closed down on me. Without in-store exchanges it's not worth it for me anymore. I'd rather go with Netflix.

Now, they will send the next title in the queue after the in-store movie is returned...not when the mailer movie is scanning in. Essentially, no way to have two movies in hand at any time.
