Ok, she's dead. Funny thing was that I was talking about dangers of skiing with a coworker days before Natasha Richardson's skiing accident. She told me that she grew skiiing in Montreal without a helmut. I told her that skiing is a dangerous sport without a helmut. I told her that it's even dangerous with a helmut as my cousin was knocked unconcious when she was even wearing hers when she got hit some another skier.

After, the Natasha Richardson accident, I didn't hear a single word from her about the accident and she's always talks about current events.

IMHO this could have happened to her as a result of any type of fall. This was a freak accident and who knows how long she might have had something going on in her brain that just needed the slightest thing to set it off

I went snowboarding for the first time in January. I was pacticing my toe slide, caught the lip and feel backwards and hit my head. I was a bit nervous after that. From the point forward I wore and will always wear a helmet. Especially now.
