WTF is the deal, I dont wanan put the password and login everytime, also wtf thats just amatuer all other phones get/send pic messages.. .is there an app im missing?

The 1st gen iPhone isn't that outdated. The 3G only gave us 3G and GPS. Everything else is still relatively the same.

Plus significantly cheaper. You need to pay extra for text plans for the new 3G plan?? what a ripoff!

Because the iPhone still functioned well even on EDGE( now they are not as AT&T has killed the speed on the EDGE network. Evil people). The 1st gen is just as capable of doing the tasks the 3G can even MMS. Excluding MMS on the 1st gen is just Apple's way of "enticing" you to upgrade just like AT&T slowing down EDGE.
