he was just giving you work to do so you can stay away from our forums and leave us alone with your "awesome" G37......

i didnt even need to, the second i saw the gears for the g37 it was obvious which car was geared for higher speed (i know the 335s by heart )

i need an INDEPENDENT dyno from a g37 owner on a dynojet w/ standard correction

no magazine dynos k thx

for reference though, the g37 can barely pull 140 in 5th where the 335 can easily pull 165+, like i said bmws are geared to go a LOT faster than most of the cars that come out of japan, this is not to say their faster its to say they can be faster if that made sense O_o

I never said my G37 was "awesome". But it is the right car for me. You on the other hand troll around in the other car forums and piss on just about every car that doesn't have a propeller on the front and back. Talk about a badge whore....

Sure, but you originally responded to my post where I said that neither car pulls away from a roll. I said it's about even once I'm out of first gear - and that was what you basically questioned me on. Now, me and my buddy don't exactly race to 165 mph. Both of our cars are currently unmodified and so are obviously capped at 155 mph. You haven't shown me anything to really believe that the 335i has a gearing advantage from say 40-100 or even up to 140.

Btw, I don't know of any private owner who has done a dynojet pull yet. But I'll post it when that happens.

Re-reading the last part of your statement leads me to believe we are talking about different speed ranges. I meant highway speeds, and it looks like you meant autobahn speeds.

i meant in general, it seemed like you were implying the opposite like the 335 is super geared for low end which its not

Agreed. What program (if any) do you use to map wheel horsepower vs. speed and to calculate shift points, and redline speeds?

I like the G37. There's also a 103 mph trap in a bone stock car which is what the 335 is good for on a good day. A little bit of forced induction on that 37 and it's going to be an absolute monster.

this is a BMW site...of course we're going to bash other cars...its also quite evident that there are a few members on here who own Infinitis...why are they here?.....they wish they owned a BMW!
the G37 is a pig...if I were to buy rice...i would buy the lexus IS350....never an Infiniti!

im here and i own a G35 AND a 335. dont generalize, and dont call them rice. that's stupid, with all due respect.

and no, not everyone wishes to own a BMW, that again is stupid. people see value in other cars, infiniti isnt too far off from BMW.

arrogance and ignorance go hand and hand

And the Mods are already starting, sell your 335 and get an M3 to even get close.

And the aftermarket F/I turbo kit on a G37 will cost you how much????? How about...sell your G37 to get a stock F/I twin turbo BMW 335i and then add the $1,400 PROcede v2 piggyback computer for an add'l 100WHP/100 lb.-ft. RWTQ and be faster than an M3...ha ha.

I know this thread is old but, a boosted g37 should give the chipped 335i some competition. Even though a g37tt (43k+10k) would cost a bit more than the 335i (50k), g37 has good potential.

Stock for stock 335i would definitely win, but when modded correctly, both can be deadly fast.
