Who has ridden The Tail of the Dragon?

hahaha, we can still have a decent conversation in the OT section. I just checked the map and this heavenly route is a 950 miles drive for me which is the only way to enjoy it. It is also very close to the Great Smokey Mountains National Park. My question is (which I am not clear on) the Tail of the Dragon is in North Carolina or is it in Tennesse?

Majority of it is in Tennessee.
