It's funny that BMW owners are talking about small, single caliper brakes and brake fade on heavy cars.

While I am not sure about if the G8 GT shares its brakes with the V6 Camaro. But since they are platform mates, I am going to assume they do since it would keep costs down.

According to Insideline, brake fade resistance on the G8 GT is good. Although they do complain about a soft brake pedal.

Nobody said anything about calipers specifically. Try reading before you post.

Just saw a Camaro SS driving on the 5 fwy yesterday with MASSIVE Brakes that said Brembo on them, next to a GM Performance logo, for sure it was an OEM deal though.

Yeah, the SS has brembo's, but I believe the one pictured is the V6 which don't.

BMW do use small single pot calipers but normally BIG discs - and despite the puny looking setup they do normally NOT fade...

Since braking is one of my 'specialities' I must admit that the scrawny looking BMW brakes (even on M cars) do not look like they are capable - compared with say AMG, Audi S-cars, etc... but in real life they really do perform.

Take an M3 (still Micky Mouse calipers) against a C63 on the track and I know who will cook first!

With regards to that Camaro in the picture - I don't think bigger brakes is his biggest problem right now.
