might i add that all these cities are all boarderline with each other
I live in cerritos and its 25 miles to irvine and 25 miles from pasadena
so i live in the middle of everything its just going to take a little commuting

& the 605, the 405, the 91, the 5, and the 710 are just right there.
Housing is freaking expensive here lol. I use to live in Cerritos like a couple of months ago and now I live in La Mirada, our house went up around 250% in about 12 years or so but yea good luck getting a house near here. However, however, however, those are some really nice places to live....if you're asian

South Pasadena!!!

Close to everything, yet, far enough to not be stuck in the middle of it.

If you move to the Westside (405), prepare to deal with A LOT of traffic.

It really depends on your budget and the type of housing you are looking for. Buying or Renting? 3 Br+ or less? Yard? Public schools or Private?

If you said, condo...then you can go anywhere. You can even go brentwood condo....but its going to cost you like $800k+. If you want to buy, but budget is more like $600k or less....forget about santa monica, west la, brentwood, PV, etc.

I currently live in a nicer part of torrance...3BR/2Bath house with small front/rear yards. ~1800 Sq Ft (not that big). Most homes in my area are valued from $550k-$950k. Just to give you an idea of the current situation in the Southbay.

If you have some more specific parameters, then we can give you a better idea of what areas might work.
