Break-in Period/drive

Hello Everyone,

Soon I am going to be a proud owner of 320D M-Sport, just few more days to go and just can't wait for it....

Anyway, the question I have is regarding break-in period/drive. I travel a lot for my work and will have to do 800 miles (within the first 5 days from delivery) in my new BMW straightaway. Most of this is going to be a UK motorway drive (70MPH). What is your advice? Is it alright to take my new BMW straight away for such a long drive and on motorway? Any tips?

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,
Amit

Just vary the revs. Meaning drive in 6th for a few minutes, then shift to 5th, then 4th. Your gas milage won't be the best but this is necessary for the first 1000 miles approx.
