Question World's Slowest Nissan Skyline: Rear-Engine VW Powered R34

World's Slowest Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R: Rear-Engine VW Powered

1. Known as the Nissan Skyline GT-R buggy, this car has a rediculous high-water stance since the car was specifically built to have a high clearance and be able to make it down a stair case. It was used in the scene where Paul Walker took the staircase shortcut in the movie.

2. Where is the legendary RB26DETT? Mid-engined RB26DETT?

3. Lets take a look in the back. It is powered by VW motor!

ouch >_> but lets be honest here, they had so many double cars for 1 or 2 scenes that for them to do something like this was nothing. We all know they had to money to spend and do whatever they wanted.

if they do it to spare the RB26, then it's forgivable. Otherwise there's no need to remove the engine just so the car can have a high ground clearence

I am guessing because they are a dime a dozen and insanely easy to install and repair. I imagine all they needed was for the car to get from point a to point b under its own power, regardless of speed.
Whats funny is that it looks like a stock vw motor, no hoses, no air filter for the carb, and then a random aftermarket oil breather.

HAHAHAHAH! No shit! Here I thought that BMW owners and fans were supposed to be intelligent. Just gos to show how many absolutely stupid 12 year old people are registered for this forum.

People, it's a STUNT CAR for ONE SCENE in a MOVIE. It's a VW chassis dune buggy with just enough Skyline bodywork to look like the main car in the movie for a couple seconds of screen time! How dumb are you that you can't figure that out????

Now I know whose opinions on cars I can avoid, 'cause their credibility has just been shot.

Its funny people give that guy a hard time. IIRC, he actually owned or owns a decently built R34 that supposedly had 500 hp. I mean, c'mon, he's a young dude with money. What else is he gonna do? Oh yeah, get hated on.
