Happy Macworld Day, Everybody!!!

Now, with just hours away, we'll finally see what all is true from that huge rumor mill that has been spinning like crazy for the past couple of months.

Steve Jobs is supposedly very excited about this year's Macworld as he invited all his personal friends and family to witness today's keynote.

I personally hope for some groundbreaking new features in Leopard (like Aqua 2, new Core technology, or something similar) and don't care much about the hyped-up iPhone and/or iTV. Interesting concepts, just not my cup of tea.

What do you guys think is going to be announced?

I think we will get octo-macs (dual quad-core chips), an iPod refresh to whoop the Zune's feature set, and possibly a revised iMac because it's about time. Other credible rumors are the Airport Express X2 (802.11n) because 802.11g ain't cutting it, iWork (with a spreadsheet app) and iLife updates with major iWeb revamp.

Now, I think we will see iTV, cause Steve already said it's shipping Q1 2007. I will probably buy one. We might also see the iPhone because rumors are rampant, and where there's smoke...

Leopard will be demo'ed and now that Vista is shrink-wrapped, Apple will reveal cool new stuff that they kept secret while Vista was being developed. They're going to exploit the Vista transition to try and boost OS X marketshare through dual-boot and virtualization.

you may be right on everything. makes sense. the video iPod should definitely see a refresh, i forgot about that.

i'm just watching live coverage of the keynote and as always, the first half is kind of slow only recapping what's happened in the previous year...
