Question What Creates This Glow?

just saw that the evoms headers glow under wot, isn't that not safe for the car is it normal? how much heat is needed to get that hot and where does it come from? looks intense

brakes i understand but headers? so if i beat the crap out of a z06 with constant WOT pulls it will turn red too?

Hell yes it can though it depends on the material and its thickness. Exhaust temperature is over 1200 degrees Fahrenheit. That is plenty enough heat to cause steel to glow.
