Must have iPod songs
Just got a new iPod Nano (to replace my very old "classic" 20gb). I'm a huge fan of music accross all genres but primarily used the iPod to hold essential mixes, live DJ sets, etc.
Time to move on. What songs/mixes/etc. (any genre at all) do you have on your iPod and would not feel complete without? Here are mine: 1. Biggy - almost all his songs. 2. 2pac - california 3. Weezer - Buddy Holly 4. Mase - Feels so good. 5. R. Kelly - Fiesta 6. Sting - shape of my heart. 7. Frankie Vallie - Beggin (pilooski edit). 8. Olive - you're not alone. 9. Lord Tariq & Peter Gunz - Deja Vu 10. Pharell - Frontin 11. Deep Dish - GU Moscow 12. Deep Dish - GU Toronto and Ali's and Sharam's afterhour cd's Your turn... |

You only like one 2pac song?!? Albums man, albums. All Eyez on Me is a must. The Don Killuminati is pretty good too as well as Me Against the World.
I'd have to say all of Led Zep's stuff. Definitely have to have Illmatic, the greatest rap album of all time. Pink Floyd, Hendrix, DJ Shadow, Wu Tang...The list goes on. And you need Dr. Dre's The Chronic. |

I don't have a must have list, but since we're on 2pac. I was never a fan of his style, prefer Biggie's over it.
The only gangster rapper I really like from the West is Eazy E. |

Eazy E is the epitomy of an overrated artist. Yes, he pioneered the gangsta rap genre. But most of his rhymes were written by Ice Cube and the ones he wrote himself were subpar at best. He only got where he got because he was the face of N.W.A. |

I'll def. look into getting some more 2pac, never was a huge fan though. Always liked Biggy more for some reason.
Downloading illmatic now, I had the album when I was younger but must have lost the CD. Thanks! Any other suggestions? E90post has to get in on this, only 6 replies is kind of lame. |

If you like Illmatic, you'll probably like It Was Written too. It's also by Nas and was his second album. If you're into that sound you'll probably like E 1999 by Bone Thugs n Harmony. I'd also recommend Reasonable Doubt by Jay-Z. That was his debut and his best work IMO. If you like Pharrel's production you'll probably like American Gangster, which was Jay's album from a couple years ago.
I don't know if you like Lil Wayne but Tha Carter II is a must for me. It's definitely his best album. Like Father Like Son was also pretty good. |

Just go through the 'what song are you listening to right now' thread. Get all the albums that those tracks are on. I would figure most people would post some of their favorite tracks on that thread, and besides, there's a million music threads already.
This thread is the same as saying "what're your favorite songs".
