So after combing internet ads and whatnot for cameras and seeking the advice of many folks, I ended up with a cheaper camera and invested more of my money into a lens. Of course, I went to bestbuy, although they don't always have the best prices, they do have triple rewards points on cameras and accessories right now, haha. I picked up the Canon XSi kit, which I've been told is a decent camera, and I forked out the extra money on the Canon EFS 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 lens. Haven't tried it out yet as I just got home from best buy! All in all the setup cost me a few dollars more than 1200 bucks, so I saved a few hundred.
