btw AMEX is beautiful.. I have virtually 'no limit' (as the limit is much higher than my MC or Visa cards)
their customer service is top notice if they see a transaction that is out of the ordinarily, they call me on my cell asap and ask if it's legit it's saved me a bunch of times and they will express mail you a card in 1-2 days, 3-3 internationally! I love AMEX, but the reason most places don't take it is cause they charge 3% versus the 2% Visa/MC charge

They should tell you everything about the card before you sign up anyway. But the classic visa cards are the best IMO, no hassle. I haven't had a problem with them yet. Easy to dispute charges and get reimbursed.

I wouldn't go as far as saying that.
They aren't accepted widely as Visa/MC obviously, however there are still places that take them. Amex is the worst since they have the highest 'per transaction' fee. Last edited by ZJP; 03-11-2010 at 03:32 PM.. |

If you have a problem with spending money then no, but seems you pay your expenses off. So go for one! I use mine all the time, gas, shopping, etc.. I don't go crazy and i pay all my CC bills off in full and on time.
