What to do in LA/Hollywood?
I will be there for a few days and wanted to make a list of what I should go do, places to check out and great places 2 go eat?
I like spicy food i.e. thai, indian and always down 4 good burgers and afghan food so any recommendations would be great also is it worth renting a car or should i just use public transpo? thanks |

Get lost? No really....I get lost everytime I go there. I've always gotten a car. If you're coming from NY you probably won't be bothered by parking. I've never tried their public transportation system, though. When I go to CA on business, I only pass through LA and maybe stay for a day or two.
Or you can do what I did at the start of last football season...

LA got bored real fast after visiting couple of times and I must say first time was really interesting for me.
First time I went there with my girl, rented a convertible and cruise through malibu to san diego and went to good beaches. In LA, went to flower garden (forgot the name) and science parks then went to universal studio and hollywood. After that, there wasn't much left to do. Second and third time business tripping there, only went to nice korean clubs with my friends and had those all you can eat beef place and enjoyed the hell out of it. Korean clubs (thought "velvet" was the nicested in terms of fine girls) has some FINE girls out there with bare to minimum cloth on attached to their bodies. I highly recommend if you are into fine asian girls. All you can eat beef places are everywhere in k-town and they have some tasty beef and meats that you can eat all night long for $16.99. So wish them to be here in ny. |
