Dinan going under?
Just read a short post on e90fanatics that Dinan is close to going under. Is this true? And does anyone know why?

if it is true, yes its sad. but maybe if they didnt charge such high prices they would get more business, maybe they could get more volume and come back stronger with lower prices? who knows. Yeah alpine try and find out!

the exhaust with the pipe on the 330 is the same price as eisenmann with the sr pipes. Why does everyone think they are so expensive. The inatke is 500 which is a lot but not crazy.

yeah but im talking about the company as a whole, it just seems that everything they make is like the gucci of performance parts, i guess you pay for the name, im not saying there not a good company they do some awesome things but if they lowered the prices i think they would be better off like u said an intake for 500 that might give u 5-10hp is really not worth it

dinan puts in a lot of r&d time when making products. that's one reason why they take longer to introduce products and that they're typically more expensive.

That stinks, but Dinan was rather pricey for the gains...
Kinda hard to make money if you charge a large amount for a very small gain... Even if a lot of time is spent in R&D... |
