I made this photo without any studio lighting so it is very amateur. I must admit seeing all of Daytona John's Rolex photos inspired me to do this. I also changed my photo sig from RM Photography to Ryan Scott Images.

BTW my last name is actually McGuinness however I decided to use my middle name just flowed better IMO.

Yeah got my 30D, haven't had much of a chance to play with, got myself an ultra wide angle lens too, hoping it'll come in handle next time we have a big meet...can we say Apple Pie

The reason for watches set at 10:10 or 8:20 for photographs is so that the manufacturer's name and other dial identifications are most likely visible. Naturally 9:15 or 2:45 would work nicely but there's something odd about the hands being straight across (and they would hide a date window on most calendar watches).

This is an old tradition in advertising (my game).
