Quick Q On Insurance & Accident...
if a kid with a learner permit or junior license is using his parent's car that is registered under their name and he gets into an accident at his fault, does insurance go up for the parents?

Your insurance goes up, and your friend's insurance puts you on an exclusion list. At least in Cali.
I had both my sons, and sister-in-law on exclusion lists except for their primary car. (Dump the kid, Harry) They now have their own cars, but are still on the exclusion list for all my vehicles. Even my motorcycle, although none of them have a class M license. |
