Those DARE cars are usually repo'd street cars from drug dealers that the cops do things to and use as show DARE cars. Ive seen a few locally like that but never a BMW, but thats where they come from.

In the UK we actually have 330d's and 5 Series tourings as police cars around here, well in my area anyway, and we have Evo IX's and X's and Subaru Impreza WRX STi's as police interceptors.

Haha, me too. My dad's company was a big donor to D.A.R.E. and back in 5th grade they came to my school for the day and photographed all the kids in my class for promotional material and whatnot, let us screw around with police cars, etc. What an awesome day.
