Same situation here. And, very soon, to be even better with 3G. Still waiting for it to handle Flash, though... a very significant weakness, IMO.

Windows Mobile (which is installed on many smart phones) has had a fully capable browser for years. I had one in a PDA in 2003.

i know this has been talked about to death already but another site came out with a kick ass version of their site.

I know there is some custom work involved in what Jason and Mark did with Bimmerpost, but i thought id just throw this in for their/our consideration.

If anyone uses www.modmyi.com. They have a awesome mobile version to view the threads and things. Something like that for this site would be great. On the iPhone this sites not half bad but it would be great to have something optimized for the small 3" screen.
