Rules about tags.

And so now, some tags are gone. I have no problem with that; I was just wondering what the guidelines were. If tags aren't "fair game", where is the line drawn?

I saw that too lol, I guess they're removed if they are totally irrelevant to the threads, since no one would really search for "OP likes them fat and in the ass" or something like that.

Maybe they're fair game until they're discovered. Southlight is the TBI.

I'm just glad they didn't impose infractions.... I have to wait until tomorrow until I can insult anyone again.... Woulda sucked if I woulda got the banstick a day before points expired....

There probably aren't any specific rules, though. You can always ask south lol.

Tags are basically (I think) what you put on a thread to make searching for it easier, i.e. this thread would be tagged "What are tags"

Essentially this. Think of tags as a means of searching for similar threads. Click one of the tags to find more threads that have been similarly tagged. You can also do a generic tag search here:

As you start to type in the tag name, you'll see a list of tags that match. I suppose you could also use tags as a sort of "bookmark" if you were so inclined, but that's somewhat pointless.
