New McLaren F1 for 2012

According to Autocar McLaren has brought forward the release of the F1 successor to 2012 rather than 2014 as originally planned. Very quick development time, I wonder if they will use the same seating layout as the F1?

They better have a center steering wheel. Otherwise it's not a McLaren. I was disappointed that the new "budget" McLaren didn't have it

That picture looks hideous, but I read about this on Autoblog. They are not as convinced on it as Autocar is, but we'll see. I would love to see an F1 successor, as long as it paid homage to the original, and was up there with the world's fastest cars.
