Asian Carp surprise
So after a boat ride yesterday I got a few asian carps that I was curios about how they taste.
I cleaned the fish and used a bass recipe to make them, and I had an amazing surprise! they taste better then Salmon and tilapia, they have very white and soft meat, they are no slimy after the scales are out, they don't smell like fish or leave any after taste and they don't taste like dirty. when I first got them out of the water I thought that they would be like rubber and taste like dirty and how was I wrong about that, the meat is moist and good looking after cooked and smell very good with a delicious flavor. So I think people should try them out, very high quality food. if they were a commercial fish they would probably not jumping on peoples boats all the time. I really recommend. I will cook 4 more of them tonight with mango sauce. |
