Read (part of) the thread on fchat and I see what the deal is, I think.

Guy spins his Ferrari, does some damage, decides to file a bogus theft claim thinking that when it's "recovered" the damage he did from spinning it will be covered by his insurer without penalty against him. Decides to fuck up the interior to add authenticity as well as to get it freshened up out of the deal, too.

Passer by from F-chat notices the car, all hell breaks loose.
