Just bought a (Honda) Integra

As some of you might have noticed in my thread, i was on the lookout for a fun car to supplement my Auto Box E90. It was either going for a Cayman or the much easier step of adding a relatively inexpensive car that was still incredibly fun but much less serious.

The second option meant an AP2 (2004-2008) S2000 or an Integra Type R. I love the S2000 but the Integra was always the more appealing. I know how it has the propensity to be stolen every two days but i found a very late 2000 model with reasonable (70k) miles at a reasonable price (most people want $15,000+ for 100,000 mile cars).

This was the only proper Type R and the most hardcore Honda ever sold in the U.S. It also had the most hardcore engine. This one is yellow (bit disappointing) and is supposed to have active LoJack. It is a bit rough round the edges but considering it is 10 years old, it is minor and can be polished back into shape.

It is a bit sad that i have to go back 10 years to find a fun Honda though. You might also call it a good investment but that is stretching it a bit. I just cant wait for the VTEC to kick in again, yo.

Pics when it arrives.

There was a thread I read a few months ago (can't remember if the link was here or on a different site) where the op restored an itr with almost all new oem parts. The build was quite epic, try and search for it if you haven't seen it yet.

Congrats on the acquisition!

That fuckin sucks. He was doing it proper and seemed to spare no expense. That's too bad, hope he sold it to someone who could finish it.

Thanks. This one is extremely good mechanically. It just has a few scratches/imperfections on the front and back bumpers that need to be sorted.

Yeah. It is supposed to be extremely good, EVO still maintains that it is the best handling FF car that they ever tested.

Hey man, congrats on the new ride. But can I ask you something, you chose a Integra Type R over a S2000?? FWD over RWD? Was it the money factor as I know that S2000 hold their value and can be expensive to obtain.

Anyway, are you going to track your new car or???
