-A few years ago there was a big tornado that hit about 10 minutes down the road.
-We also got hit by a hurricane like 6 or 7 years ago. It just gave us a ton of rain and a few tornadoes. -The storm that brought around 170 tornadoes to the South last hit me pretty hard too. The cell that leveled Tuscaloosa was about 5 minutes north of me. It was sort of curving down towards me though, it if started doing that any earlier it would've hit me.

Guessing your using the Beaufort scale as it's the only measurement of storms that goes that high. Sorry to burst your bubble but that's not a typhoon.

921 Earthquake in Taiwan (7.6 magnitude) Not as bad as the 9.0 in Japan but it hit in the middle of the night and shit was flying off the shelves.

You guys need to specify, Ive been in many hurricanes but I dont really say I have because I wasnt IN them. I consider if you were in a tornado, as in actually inside of one that destroyed the building or house you were in. Lots of people have been near hurricanes and other disasters but not technically involved in them. Many hurricanes took trees down near my house but it was nothing compared to sitting in a building that a F4 completely demolished and lived to say it.

No power or water for more than 2 weeks after the eye of Wilma hit S. FL. Tons of damage, no gas nor electric to power ATMs or banks. No food or drinks in stores. That shit was the worst. My car was destroyed as well. I spent most of the storm out on the balcony like a madman. We missed 2 weeks of school because of it.

Got hit with LOTs of large, baseball-softball size hail, like the '95 Mayfest storm. Heck just last week my cousins Porsche was totaled by Baseball sized hail. Also there was a tornado, and a direct hit by Super Typhoon Man-Yi. The Typhoon was actually kinda fun because I got to walk out in the eye, and we had a kegger the night before it hit.

Been through a few earthquakes and near a few fires and a mudslide or two. A year or two ago we had an earthquake while I was in my office on the 3rd floor and th building swayed back and forth. Felt like we were swaying a couple feet; that was a scary/interesting experience and the closest I've felt endangered from an earthquake.

Technical question (Dose not apply to me necessarily but I am curious to know...) :
Does "Divorce" qualify as a natural disaster? I mean, it comes through like a tornado usually and does take away your home and put you on the street with no money and such ....so? |
