I love the new CLS63's looks and I can't help but be disappointed by the M5's. That being said, it's all speculation until you see them in person but mostly it all boils down to the test drive.

If you are getting bored of the M but still want great handling, neither of these cars are it. Someone mentioned the new C63, its due out in Sept.

I'm not 100% sold on the exterior looks of the new CLS63, but I'm sure it'll grow on me. I may be a bit bias since I have an '07 CLS63, but I'd still go with the Merc. In my opinion, the F10 styling seems way too bland. We'll see when the new M5 comes out I guess.
I'd personally wait two years and pick up a used CLS63 for $65kish with low miles. I bought my CLS63 3 years old and the price was less than HALF of the original MSRP of $118k with 22,000 miles....from a Mercedes dealer. There's no way I could stomach that much depreciation if I had bought it new. Just my .02

Let me help with some pics... the M5 is a bit bland compared to the CLS, but I think it has the classic line that will look good well into the future, kind of similar to the E39 M5.
Quattroporte GT S, just for fun (the rear is a bit bland though):
