So am I. Looking forward to Matt, Dan and Adam. Literally just finished Youtubing a bunch of promo vids and interviews. Dan's a complete car geek. Matt was good on his own shows and should be equally, if not better, on this show. I didn't know what to think of Adam but after watching some vids he seems like he can be worthy. The other guy didn't seem very interesting to watch.

Pretty entertaining so far. These guys are so much more natural in talking about cars and being funny/entertaining than anyone on Top Gear USA.

well its not great, the Game-show segment was a bunch of crap. John Salley needs to go, he's not a car guy and was non existent thru-out the show. Matt farah was actually great. Adam was great, with time the scripted vive will get lost and he will be better. Neil was all high and mighty but i think, thats the role he needs to play. The show lacks Top gear or TGUSA cinegraphic scenes, but the future look bright.
season 2 of TGUSA is around the corner, the previews look great. With more time and work the chemistry of the host look like it has matured and might pull a fast one on the Car Show. |

I liked it. The guys have a lot more chemistry than the Top Gear America crew.
They just need to get rid of segments like the quiz show. Otherwise enjoyed the car segments and commentry on car news. |

I felt about the same way as after watching the first episode of TGUSA which is to say a bit disappointed. I think Adam was obnoxious and did not come across as a car guy. The game show was just plain stupid. The 60 second news was pretty good along with the major segments. I could have done without Adam in the back of the rolls but what ever.
I will definetly watch this season. I just hope Adam tones it down a bit. After all it is "The Car Show" and not "The Man Show."

Episode 2, better then episode 1, teaching the girls to drive stick was good. You can definitely see the lack of budget compared to Top Gear (particularly the Ferrari segment).
Thoughts? |

Episode 2 sucked. 1 was passable, but 2 lacked everything including humor. There's your thought

Used to like the old Garage 419 shows with Matt. Have to check this one out. IF they are smart they will make this show honest and low key, and if necessary, change the hosts around until they find 3 guys with great chemistry. That's what matters - find 3 gearheads who click and throw in some cars and you have a show.

The Ferrari 458 segment was actually a shortened replay of another show called Ticket to Ride also on Speed. Dan Neil hosted a small number of episodes and then it seemed to disappear.

To be honest I had a couple of beers while watching episode 3, but I liked it. Salley is proving to be a waste of space...except he does allow the show to get away with some edgier jokes.
I would have liked to see some lap times on the r8 vs vette, and the vette fan from mt was just awful |
