M6 is more bigger than M5, no? C6, RS4, C4S. Confused.

I still don't get the question. Why would one be "better" than the other, it's all about "needs". If you need to haul around a bunch of people, the M5 is better, if you don't and like a coupe with the longer window and doors the M6is better.

It's like saying "which is better, e90 or e92" they are both great and I don't think either is "better" than the other, it just depends on what you need in a car.

Yes, the M6 is bigger by dimension. I think the S5 and M6 are fairly close in size.

I will agree that on width the two are identical and this is maybe why some class the two alike but when you put the two side by side you see that the two are from a different class sector.

When you look at where the 8 inches are (all at the rear) then I do get a little concerned. Well would you not, what man would like 8 inches behind him.

Do interior dimensions and you will find the 3 series is actually bigger in some key measurements than the 6.

Using me as a ruler, the front seats are roomier in the 6 and more shoulder room. No question in the rear, way more room in the 3 series. Real people can fit back there.

Was that necessary? I mean, because I'm new and everything and this post may seem as if I'm a troll but 6/100ths of a second can be interchangeable between cars either way. It's a win win situation for either car.

Look at it this way. The Audi S5 completed the nurburgring in 8:24 seconds. The 335i did it in 8:26. Both auto.


and to not keep this post totally irrelevant, when I went to the BMW dealership, I was surprised as to how little leg room the rear seats had. To me, it seems as if the Coupe M6 really is meant for a person per door.

The M5 is definitely the choice for a family or the occasional hauling of extra 3 people.
