No way, save the shitty design for the gas powered ones and let the EV ones be awesome.

Or you know, just make them all look good 👍

The B48/B58 plus ZF 8-speed combo is a match made in heaven.

Even the iDrive 8/9 looks more elegant than most of
Mercedes two display set ups with futuristic vents. Mercdes exterior no longer impart classiness IMHO. My dad's 190E and 260E looked really good. Mercedes had some good designs two and more generations back but not anymore

Audi exterior and interior look the sharpest but the engine and transmission pairs can't hold a candle to BMWs.

Porsche tax is just too much including servicing and potential upkeep.

If Lexus or Acura don't come up with wonderful BEVs, I will most likely go with a BMW BEV once active torque vectoring is made available. Hoping the Neue Klasse is just a concept because I am not digging the funky exterior looks even if it has roots in the 2002.

All the X3 generations look good. Many of the 3 Series look good. BMW hopefully realizes not to make too polarizing and funky designs. It should learn from Porsche and Audi to make iterative designs on already great looking models.

X3

I can forgive the new grille if they up the HP to 400+ and if I can get it in red without paying an extra 5K.

The G65 will be coming out as a MY27 starting production in August of 2026.

You wouldn't happen to have a nice render, would you?

No, unfortunately not. What we know so far exterior wise from the dealer showing in Vegas is that it is supposed to have a "mean look" and have an X-shaped headlight assembly with DRL's whatever that may mean.

The proportions are looking more like the X7 than the X5.

Hoping this 4th generation X3 will continue the winning streak of beautifully designed SAVs. Just began noticing the last two generations and they're very good looking like the G01. Only thing I initially didn't like were the tail lights but they've grown on me. The X5 tail lights looks sleeker for sure.

You’re missing the point completely. Read what I wrote again. It’s not that difficult. You don’t know 1 person who didn’t buy a redesign Because the grill looks weird, although the car is better in pretty much every way. That’s not how the general public buys cars. The G80 is a massive success. You don’t think anyone bought it again that initially thought the grill was ugly? We both know you do not believe that. BMW retention is one of the highest in the world. It’s not rocket science. It takes time for people to get used to something. People don’t normally like big changes. It literally happens every time a new model comes out. People like yourself whine and cry, then 6 months or 1 year later enquire about it. You will be no different. You will say otherwise but I guarantee when you’re ready to buy an X3, if you are, the grill will not be the reason you don’t buy it, because they did an incredible job overall on the car, in every way. If it is the reason, a grill, lol you have issues my friend.

That's a solid flat looking Grill. Is that hybrid or electric version, it had reflections on black part.

It's the plug-in Hybrid, there will be no electric version of the G45 X3, the next iX3 will be based on the Neue Klasse.

You all talking about the grill, but what about all the flat surfaces? Not a very aggressive look, gives off Honda vibes.

Since I’m not 1ft tall or see the world at a 15 degree angle I find it very difficult to judge the attractiveness of the design solely based on this leak. Definitely need better pictures.

That said, it seems to have a mix of XM and iX design cues, two cars design I just can’t warm up to. So at this point, it’s a no for me. Pity, since technically it’s interesting.
