As one of the OG I can say it has certainly changed around here

I constantly fail to understand some of the animosity that develops between members, but it's not unique to BP. It certainly explains the 8/31 action because people simply can't accept a difference of OPINION and rapidly fall into personal attacks

Truly sad for society in general

I’ve noticed this in general. Now I don’t know if it’s because I just wasn’t paying attention in the before times or if people have just gotten nastier in general. However ANYWHERE that has people commenting just seems to be full of hate these days. That’s part of the reason I almost never go on FB or even Nextdoor has become a cesspool.

As for the drama on BP… apart from the occasional thread derailed by politics I can’t say I’ve noticed any of the drama… I do think I spend a lot less time on here than I use to though.
