You're obviously not large investor investing millions. I've had the opportunity to do direct offerings and private placements. I know how the game works and I would hardly say that everyone is an idiot. That's how companies raise money. This is pretty standard practice. You are literally calling every single person who's ever invested in a company before they went public and after for capital raises an idiot. That doesn't even make any sense.
Companies should not be issuing more shares after IPO anyway. Just dilutes the shares that other people paid good money for. Companies I see listed here have had negative revenue for years or decades and have done reverse splits and DOs multiple times. IMHO, that is NOT looking out for the shareholders. Oops, we didn't make any money this year, let's put a $40M DO out there and spend more money. Wonder why they can't get any capital from banks or venture funds. Oh, they suck, that's why.
Corn, what do you think about ticker PLAY (Dave and busters) and ticker SPG (Simon property group) for long term recovery stocks? Thinking about getting in after Q2 earnings come out for PLAY.

They are both severely undervalued right now based on projected future earnings, that's IF they can hold on until we have a vaccine or viable treatment.

A lot of uncertainty right now in commercial real estate and bars, which both of these are in, so I do understand the risks associated with them, but just searching for some good opportunities.

Thanks!

Here’s my take on PLAY. Social distancing and germaphobia will eat into their profits.

They’re probably considered anchor tenants due to their sq ft and they also need quite a few direct labor expense to run the store chasing people down, wiping machines, etc.

Also their venue space will be under utilized due to group restrictions and also company retreats being severely reduced.

IF they have enough cash on hand to weather the storm ($20MM), they may get back to some semblance of normal but I don’t see it happening. I’d imagine they’re going to go under bankruptcy protection in the near future like Chuck E Cheese did.

Well, they've got $157M in cash and are burning about $14M per month according to Q1 report.

All else being equal, they can survive for 11.2 months from Q1, which was 3 months ago, so assume 8.2 months from today.

Yea, doesn't sound good, lol.

No clue. I know everything that goes on in my current company and I don’t have a clue where the stock price will go. If we beat estimates, our stock goes up and down. If we miss estimates, our stock goes down and up. Value investing is out the window these days.

Big decision on Comcast. Need to sell some off this week, but the debate is sell Pre results or hang on and see how they perform.

Anyone got insight or thoughts on Comcast stock?

Tough one but I’d also look at the entertainment space as well since they own NBC etc. Netflix is down and so is DLPN lol.

I don’t know if they’ve been able to penetrate the mobile market share either.
I think they’re going to swing up before ER and then drop.

Looking at their 1 and 2 year performance I don’t see it climbing above historical highs at the moment so maybe not much headroom for profits.

NBC did launch their Peacock streaming service about a month ago, so maybe some millennial Robin Hood folks will bite on that to buy Comcast.

On the subject of DLPN, it is sitting at $0.89 again as I type this. I need to take a look at the history, to see if it cyclically porpoises in a predictable manner before maybe jumping on for another ride of the wave.....

Great conference call and their ER was good. It was odd that it went down when it did.

Sitting right on 50 day moving average with a hammer candle stick today. Looks like it found a short term bottom

I'm still big on Netlist (NLST) especially with this anti-trust stuff going down right now. Google/Inphi were already found guilty of stealing their IP and selling it as their own and as we speak they're being reprimanded for being too big and stealing from the little guy.

I did, using the profits now to buy all my dream upgrades for my car haha, and redoing my parking pad to make a car port. Fucking tendies. I wish more people would have bought into AMD when i said in 2016. Some of us threw down @ $2.54 and now its $80. Still major room to grow as intel has shit the bed and 3rd partied their chips.

I have a hard time trusting anything I see on Stocktwits.. to me it seems like its all pump and dump hype.

At least when RMTT was on here I felt he was somewhat trustworthy as a fellow BMW enthusiast.

Stocktwits is a dumpster fire. Is literally a combination of seasoned pumpers and broke millennials playing around with a few grand on Robin Hood.
