I've just arrived in rural Louisiana. I'm living at my mom's house temporarily for the next week or two until I have time to look at a few apartments in Baton Rouge and New Orleans.

I love my mother to death, but she only has boxed food and so much processed shit. There's not a single vegetable in this house. It's a 16 mile drive to the nearest grocery store, after just driving 1,000+ miles to get here I don't feel like driving any more for a while.

There is no instacart, ubereats, grub hub, or doordash service out here. Ugh.

Baton Rouge is a nice little town...but I am willing to bet you would get bored AF after a month!

First word problem: I hate that my wireless thermostat keeps losing connection with my wifi and I have to go TO the damn unit to turn the heat off. SMDH

The BMW Apple Watch app only views 1 BMW at a time. First world problem is if I want to view another, I have to switch on my iPhone first...then go back to the watch.

Ready to buy bike #5 but the dealer can't get any. Can't even get it to come up in his requisition system. Says it might be mid to late summer before I can get one.

Seems to be the problem anywhere. Bikes that just got released and should be available are now Q3 bikes

Last year I grabbed a Marlin 6 for that reason (and because it was available), but the Marlin is really a dirt trail bike and isn't the greatest for riding on the street or the paved bike trail.

My trainer bike is a Trek 1.1 that's permanently mounted on my Wahoo Kickr. That's bike #4.

Uber just acquired them for a billion dollars. The better question is why didn’t I think of the business model and sell it to Uber?

I didn't realize the first world problem I had until this...

I want to buy a cheap road bike to see how I like it, but the money I'd spend on one is currently earmarked to buy the trailer I need for my racecar.

Funny coincidence is that a Trek trail/road bike suddenly appeared in my enclosed race car hauler right after I bought it. A fellow driver had it sitting in his garage unused, and gave it to me out of the blue as a paddock bike for weekends.

I pulled it out of the trailer last fall, and took it for a quick spin around our neighborhood after airing up the tires. I am afraid to take it through the gate into the 6000+ acre state forest that I live next next to these days, because the tires are in need of replacing from dry rot now and also because my health is bad enough where fast ambulance access is a serious concern.....

If it's in decent shape, it should sell quickly for a nice price these days.

Mercedes has "Mercedes Me Connect" and the older "Mercedes Me" app.

They function exactly the same but for 2 different models. They look completely different too.

The first app controls the GLC and the older app controls the E400.
So if you want to start both cars at the same time, you have to open each app individually!

When I had my C7 and Tahoe at the same time. I could just scroll down to different vehicle and control them in the same app.

Also, Alexa can only control one Mercedes at a time.
So, you could only start one car with an Alexa command.

So inconvenient!!!
