Really? My kid received a vintage barbie on a BOX last year from a guy who invites us every 7/4. She played with it for few hours, and stop playing with it. I think she likes more of car toys, bicycle, scooters, and any moving toys.
I think if I tell her to pick between a bicycle helmet or dolls, she will pick the helmet.

I think she already has 2 BMW cars as a toy. When I was 19, I bought a Z8 diecast model. Thankfully, it was still in excellent condition. She plays with that.
Another one is X6. She saw that at a local soopermarket, and grandma gave in and bought her that toy. All navy blue color.

I hope so. Car as their joy of life to drive with, not to show off their social status.

For six months he only wore clothes if he had something red on. As seen in the pic, a dress to go to bed was an option if nothing else could be found. He didn't let me cut his hair, he had curls.

Personal favorite was, that he informed us he will be addressed as Pupu (bunny in Finnish) from that day on. We still call him that. he still hits on the ladies everywhere.

I appreciate a lot when my kid tries to help out. She cleans the wheel with sponge, and immediate try to clean the Al part of the hood. I try to stop her few times, but now I kinda gave up. "It will just buff out."

Although I don't have too much encounter of Finnish men, I would think that is so true. Just look at the FIA press conference. They only say things that they need to say. That can be a huge PLUS for Finnish women.

I did have encounter of Finnish women (by decent, not by nationality). She speaks so well that she can be on a debate team. As a lab partner, she did A LOT (almost everything).

We don't need yet an other generation of females that know their way around purses, and needs a man to get a tire changed.

My nightmare is that the boys bring home a Barbie who thinks she deserves the fruit of their work just because she has a vagina. I want all my kids to be loved and respected for themselves, not for what their mom and daddy has or what they can buy the spouse.

As the picture proves, I think she would be more than eager to change her own tire.

I gotta let her choose her interest in some areas. I remember when my mom picked my interest thinking I will like to play piano and chello. It really didn't go well. When I finally quit playing plano, my school GPA went up by 1.5!

we actually need a new helmet for her bike/scooter, not because she wants one. Now, if she wants to pick which ones, it is all her choice.

She recently outgrew her helmet, and she kept saying "it's too small!!! It's too small!"

You're a father most kids only dream of. If you weren't on my friend Los already, I'd be sending you a request right now.

I expect a lot from my kids. I push them a lot toward their strengths as in I enable their interests. The thing is, I will not push them towards things they don't care for. I can talk frogs for hours, I can not say the same abt a cello being played.

I spent 15 years with a hobby I hated. Not making them go through that ever.

If they like it, they will be good at it. When they get older, they will see and face competition. They will probably seek help to get pushed to be better when they turn older.

Since my kid have so much fun "playing" (not competing) golf, I saw some footage on YouTube how good jr pga and other state kids are doing. Ummm, being honest, I don't know she will be in those leagues yet, but she sure can just take the pressure off , and play a game (or practice).
