^^back at you. Perfect timing.

It's that smokey taste I enjoy but watch out it has virtually no bite so you can drink a ton of it very quickly.

I have a bottle of this, it's very smokey and has a long burn, certainly not my favorite scotch. I tried Drambui for the first time recently, I like that for an after dinner drink. Id like to try the drambui reserve next

I've always enjoyed Dalwhinnie, saw that 15 when I was in the store. How is it?

Macallan 12 for my in-laws anniversary party. You can see the cube it was real ice but hardly melted. Can someone explain the science behind that.

was it the true 16 or the special edition 16 or whatever it's called. When i drink it, there is no bite at all. my tolerance is pretty high though. not that it's a good thing.

Fantastic. I drink a lot of scotch (I mean A LOT) in the 80-260$ range and have been trying to find stuff under 80 that I can switch to for my daily use.

I've got a wide palate so I can appreciate a variety.
Top 4 under 80$ for me are

Dalwhinnie 15
JW double black
Aberfeldy 12
Aberlour 12

And those will cover and pair with almost anything except the guy who's looking for max earthy and peat

No that I have a decent tripod and camera setup I'm going to finally use my utube channel as intended for scotch and cigar reviews

Being in PA I had a SHIT selection having someone who's willing to help me out and ship to PA would help a great deal. I usually go and spend and travel to OH to restock

I may be mistaken, but I don't think you can ship booze without a license. Someone recently tried shipping me some Heady Topper, but it was a no-go.

I get Aberlour A'bunadh for right at $80. But IIRC, the Dalwhinnie 15 I saw in the case was $110, so I bought that Hibiki for $80.

Aberlour 16 is right at $80 as well (before taxes, which can be significant).

Dalwhinnie 15 $49 at my local liquor store but a bit too light for me

Aberlour 16 is $66 but I just get the A'bunadh for $75. Regular 12 year is only $48
