Agree, Cola' (and Albon) are overdriving the Williams trying to impress and costing the team cheques that are in short supply.

Just finished watching qualifying.
What a surprising result!
RUS on pole, GAS on 3rd and TSU 7th.
Who would've thought that.
And Max outqualifying both McLarens. Didn't expect that too.
Ferrari being strong...that was expected I think.
And of course Checo being Checo....and Hammy being Hammy (of course it's his car..)
All the ingredients for an interesting race tomorrow. I don't know if I'm able to watch it live though....

I still wonder about that whole RB 'we forgot our wing' thing.
I think that's just some lame excuse. I think they're out of development time to make a specific las vegas wing. But information like that would be extremely sensitive to the competition of course.
But to me it makes sense. If you're surpassed mid season by a competitor, the developdepartment of your organisation will run overtime as much as possible of course.

Verstappen has explained that. Red Bull doesn't have such a wing. They made a choice not to develop one and use their budget somewhere else.

Everyone kept saying Vegas is a Ferrari track but I don't get it

Too COLD....Ferrari doesn't like the cold.

But, 2nd and 4th, maybe my expectations are too high

I don't call it a Ferrari track unless one of my guys is clearly on pole.

Probably because it's a high speed track like Monza where Ferrari pretty much always makes a Monza aero packeage.
Ferrari does seem to always have good top speed on high speed tracks.
So I expect them to be strong tomorrow too, lots of straights in Vegas, so top speed is good way to create overtaking oppertunities.
(not good news for Max and RUS...)
But indeed as you say, temperatures are completely different to Monza.

Colapinto has to pass another medical examination before the race as the impact was 50G.
MAX's tyre wall impact at Silverstone in '21 was 51G but Cola hit a solid concrete wall here.

Definitely couldn’t hurt anything but Red Bull’s pocketbook. Slim probably won’t allow it.

I may be crazy but Gasly seems to have matured into quite a driver. And I’m talking about over the past few seasons. I’m not just saying that because of qualifying yesterday. And I don’t particularly care for the French.
