Take the new position if you haven't already. It would be more likely to keep that raise (or at least close to it) if you are already making that money when you switch jobs (if you end up finding a new one). It would be an act of God if you request such a substantial pay raise and get it when moving to a new company.

Word to the wise involving best friends in these kinds of things could turn out really bad as in not having that friendship any longer. But I agree, I don't owe anything to anyone. I would be more understanding if her and I were going to be getting into a committed relationship or something (just making him aware about it), but we're not. She's definitely not emotionally involved, she just has an odd way of going about things that differs from the norm. As Tim603 said, she's just very naive as to the what that would actually do, seeing as she doesn't see it as a big deal (though he most likely will). But I plan on speaking with her about it this weekend hopefully. Normally, I wouldn't care and didn't think to much of it, seeing as how it's been over two years since they were together, but the fact that he flipped out over just hearing about her and I just potentially kissing/making out leads me to believe he would be pretty upset if he found out her and I had sex.

Well, most of my friends are female, haha. My absolute best friend in the world is a girl. And a lot of my female friends are very attractive. So sometimes things happen.

You're welcome unfortunately was not drunk but at work doing employee performance appraisals. Was on the person who seems to think "I show up everyday" should get them a bonus. Any advice on how to legally say you are a fawktard if you think showing up and sitting there should garner you a bonus. BTW said employee is a 60+ YO single female who cries at work at least once a month, treading lightly with this one.

Yeah, I couldn't do that, haha. I really only have a couple of guy friends that I genuinely enjoy being around. My absolute best friend in the world is a girl, and we're strictly platonic. But I love every minute I'm hanging out with her and vice versa.
