Cyrano was great! One of the most beautifully told story and acting I have seen in a while. Settings were beautiful. Looked it up and it was in Italy.

Aquaman. With Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, Willem Dafoe, Nicole Kidman and Dolph Lundgren. Did not see this title in the thread surprisingly. It's what I expected. A big dumb action movie with some cool moments and special effects, and also some dumb moments and silly plot points. I didn't know Kidman and Lundgren were in the movie and that was a shocker. I didn't even recognize Lundgren.

Finally got around to watching the last installment of Daniel Craig as 007. While he is one of my favorite Bonds (right behind Connery), I liked this film the least. Entertaining, yes, but with a plot that was jumbled and seemingly just thrown together and lacked cohesion. |

Watched "House of Gucci" last night. Entertaining but kinda mindless. But it seems to me that both Adam Driver and Lady Gaga are good in anything they are in

Saw The Batman earlier today. It was a good movie. Very dark. I still don’t know how I feel about Pattinson as Batman. He’s not a bad actor, just don’t have the Bruce Wayne look IMO. The film went on longer than it needed to I think. At 2 hours 56 minutes, I feel like they could have trimmed 15-20 minutes off the movie. Towards the end I just wanted it to end as it went on for 2.5 hours already. It wasn’t boring or felt draggy, just grew a tiny bit long in the tooth towards the end. I highly recommend it though. Watching it in Dolby Digital was fantastic.

Yeah it was a bit of a commitment. I really liked the Christian Bale Batman movies. This one is like the Joker with Joaquin Phoenix: dark, uncomfortable (intentionally so), all about Batman and fighting crime, etc. It doesn’t have the finesse of a Nolan movie, but still pretty great in itself.
