I have an appointment with a Dr. to drink a bunch of slosh, and get a camera put up my rear end next month. Another to have my breasts smashed in an x-ray machine

That's how I know I'm getting old.

Get off my lawn young lady…

You know you're old when:
…you know to ask and make sure they do an "Upper GI" at the same time they do the "Lower GI", all happily asleep. This way you only drink that horrendous crap-to-death drink once every 5 years. And yes, they do use different cameras for each end, not the same one! (ewww)

And if you had the drink before, the new stuff really does make you think it's drain cleaner. Oh my gosh it's crazy…never be more than 1 step from the potty.

With the "old stuff", you had to mix in a gallon jug of water. After about the second quart, you are through with it, because that second half is horrendous. This "new" stuff is a little easier.

You, my man, are tough and welcome on my lawn. That or you're dead but nobody told you yet.

I remember the 1st time with the "old stuff". Couldn't fathom mixing that motor oil with a gallon of water. I mixed it with 2 tall glasses of water and chugged away. When it took effect shortly thereafter it was like an Apollo rocket launch! Probably wasn't such a great idea after all.

Yeah, don't think it takes the place of a real test.

When bending over just a bit in the wrong direction can wreck your back for days. Ugh. Gorgeous cool and sunny weather here today and I can't go for a ride because I can barely walk.

You REALLY know your old when you're driving in the SUV with your family and the wife changes the channel to the Oldies Station and you hear Metallica and Iron Maiden and you ask her to leave it on there...

The kids "What is that Sound"
Mom "This is what Daddy used to listen to when he went to the Mosh Pit"
The kids "what's a Mosh Pit"
Me "Just change the freakin station"

You keep seeing more and more members of bands you have listened to for years announcing that they have this or that cancer or dementia or some other ailment that is associated with age.

Thinking of some individuals in particular? I can think of some but was wondering who you're thinking of?

Think the latest I heard of was Glen Tipton, guitar player for Judas Priest having Parkinson's disease.

Also Eddie Van Halen dying in 2020, but that is something everyone has heard. RIP Eddie.

The most recent I've heard about is Stephen Pearcy, founder and lead singer of Ratt. He has liver cancer.

Hadn't heard that. Bummer! I liked Ratt.

Their first big song for me - Round and Round.

Music video with guest Milton Berle (he was related to their producer, or something like that):
