Picked up a bottle of Buffalo Trace the other day. It was everywhere when I lived in Nashville but for some reason its really hard to get down here in Atlanta. I forgot how smooth it is.

That is basically moonshine, and bad shine at that. I have a good source for Tennessee shine, I get a few jars every time I go home.

Yes, definitely. Adding to the entire collection in the coming weeks. I've been concentrating on wines lately but I'm more a spirits drinker during the colder months.

Definitely grab that bottle of Dewars 15 I posted. I have had JW Blue Label, The Macallan 12 & 18, and Glinlevit 15. All of those are considerably more expensive than this Dewars 15. However, it is just as smooth as the Blue Label which IMO is the best tasting and smoothest Scotch on Earth!

WOW! That's saying something because I've never had better than the Blue! When I was a rep and it was legal, I gave it to my best docs as a gift every Christmas. Ahhh the good old days!!

I'm looking forward to a taste tonight and I will post my findings afterwards!!

The Yamazaki is much fuller bodied, much more malt forward, less floral and almost hoppy, which is more how I see the Toki.

I really enjoy Yamazaki in isolation but made the mistake of switching from it to Highland Park 12 the last time I had it and it just didn't hold up to such a staple.
